Latimer Corporation was founded in January 1985. Latimer has grown to become one of Malaysia’s leading civil and infrastructure contractor specializing in roadworks, highways and bridges in both urban and rural areas. Tan Sri Dato Denis Latimer joined Latimer Corporation 1995 as Finance Director after his return from the UK and Australia. He took over the helm of Latimer Corporation as Group Managing Director in 1998. He has steered Latimer Corporation by establishing a dedicated team of Senior Management and Skilled Staff to ensure the company growth rate is sustainable Latimer commenced operations in September 1989 on a RM17Million project in Triang, Pahang Darul Makmur. In the following years, activity climbed steadily to RM80Million in 1995, RM250Million in 2001 and RM500Million in 2017. Latimer is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) as a G7 contractor, enabling the Company to tender for government and private projects of any size. Latimer Corporation has been certified as a 5 STAR CIDB Contractor since 2020. |

The Company’s workforce increased from a few employees to over 200. The growing list of projects has also led to an increase in professionals employed to handle the technical aspects of the business.
